It was the fall of 2003, and I was seventeen years old. I remember the night clearly: it was quiet, the sky was clear and cloudless, i saw flying saucer and the air was cool and warm. I left my house to visit a friend in a nearby neighborhood.
As I crossed the streets of my neighborhood, I stopped at a vendor selling boiled chickpeas. I stood there, eating the hummus and drinking the hot soup, savoring its warm flavor on that cold night.
In front of my eyes, the wall of the old Jewish cemetery loomed behind the nearby houses. I stared into the darkness beyond the wall, lost in thought… Suddenly! Unbelievably, a flying saucer appeared in the sky above the wall.
It was so close that its shape was completely clear, resembling a Moroccan tagine, with a series of red lights rotating on its sides in a strange, coordinated motion. I froze, not feeling scared as much as I felt amazed and delighted. It was as if I was witnessing something beyond the bounds of reality, something that could never be earthly.
I can’t determine how long those moments lasted, maybe 10 or 15 seconds. Then I quickly turned to the hummus vendor, wanting to see if he noticed what I was seeing… but he was preoccupied with his livelihood and didn’t even raise his head.
When I looked back at the dish… that’s when the biggest surprise occurred:
The flying saucer performed an indescribable movement, reminiscent of the way soccer player Ronaldinho skillfully dribbles past his opponent. In an instant, it disappeared into the darkness at an incredible speed, as if it hadn’t gradually receded away but had instead entered through a portal or some hole in the sky.
I then ran to my friend, panting with excitement, and told him everything. I always told him about such strange phenomena and stories, and he would laugh at me and accuse me of being crazy. But this time, I begged him to accompany me to the viewing site, hoping the dish would reappear. We even considered climbing the tomb wall and going inside to see if there was any trace of what I had seen.
But we didn’t find anything…
Today, all these years later, I swear to God that I didn’t lie in any of what I said. I still remember that night as if it happened yesterday. It was a moment etched in my memory, confirming to me that we are not alone in this great universe.
Greetings from me to everyone who believes in other worlds and unexplained phenomena… Perhaps, like what happened to me, each of you is waiting for the moment when you see something that will change your view of the world forever.
